Eye Candy 1984-2009 by Erwin Olaf

The Museum fr Fotografie is staging a 30-year retrospective of the controversial Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf. Curated by Christoph Ruys, the exhibition encompasses the artists independent photography and film as well as advertising commissions. The survey includes photographic series that unite art, fashion and emotion, such as Chessmen, 1988, Royal Bloodä“”, 2000 (illustrated right), on the theme of the death of the Princess of Wales, and Grief, 2007, as well as video installations.

Royal Wedding Cakes in Kuwait

These cakes are just stunning. I’ve never seen anything like this come out of a bakery in my country and would be surprised if even the top-rated celebrity wedding cake bakers would attempt some of these designs.

They are made by Chef Omar Addihaoui and some serve up to 1000 guests. He works in Kuwait for Cafe Opera, a patisserie and cafe.
